About the event
The Building Bridges Community Meet & Greet is a community-driven event hosted by Indivisible TN BIPOC, the Knoxville Area Activist Coalition (KAAC), and United Volunteers of Tennessee (UVOTN).
This gathering brings together residents, faith leaders, organizers, and advocates from Knoxville and surrounding counties for an afternoon of unity, learning, and collaboration. Through open dialogue and shared experiences, we’re breaking down barriers, fostering understanding, and creating pathways for real community change.
The event provides space for local organizations to connect, share resources, and build lasting partnerships rooted in equity, safety, and respect. Together, we’re working to strengthen our communities and inspire collective action across East Tennessee.
Join us as we build bridges not walls across Tennessee, and work together toward a more connected, inclusive, and empowered future.
